Dinners are a 5-course degustation menu personally prepared and presented by renown Chef Malcolm Redmond. As each course is served, Malcolm explains the origins of the ingredients, as well as, how the dish was prepared. Portion sizes are appropriate so diners delight in a variety of flavours that leave them feeling satisfied.
Hawke’s Bay is New Zealand’s oldest wine growing region. The mild winters and warm sun-soaked summers make this area a prime location for some of the world’s leading Chardonnay, Syrah, and Bordeaux blend reds. There are over 30 cellar doors within 15 minutes of Breckenridge Lodge to taste or tour. A variety of tours are available and can be arranged to pick up and drop off at the lodge.
